1) How long have you been playing Roller Derby?
I have been here and there so around a year?
2) What is the story behind your derby name?
I needed a tag for my street art. My mentor suggested a play on words with my initials and thats how SMORE came about. I always liked the name of the lead singer of the sex pistols (Johnny Rotten) so thats how Rotten got add to it.
3) Derby goals for 2012?
I would like to be a jammer. Improve my foot work.
4) What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a geneticist with focus in bees to improve pollination of crops.
5) Random Fact about S’more:
I enjoy playing banjo and I’m teaching myself Italian.

1) What brought you to Roller Derby & how long have you been playing?
A friend recruited me, not that it was that hard. I had been involved in sports heavily as a child and I identify with the aggression of full contact sports. This is my 4th season (I think).
2) Favorite derby memory so far?
I know that it is not the answer your looking for but meeting the love of my life.
3) What are your derby goals for 2012?
I pretty much always have the same goal…..skate more. I really am trying to get a situation set up that I can skate 4 days a week. I guess that is my personal goal.
4) After party drink of choice?
The sweet taste of victory…..I really love winning.
5) What are some of your hobbies outside of roller derby?
I don’t understand the question.
1. Derby is not a hobby, at least not for me
2. Who has time for anything else:) Between working to afford this sport, sleeping and playing this sport their really isn’t any other time. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Besides, hobbies are for when I retire when ever that is.

1) How long have you been playing Roller Derby & what brought you to TCDS?
I’ve been skating with TCDS since August of 2011. I started out as freshmeat and just recently “graduated” to a full-blown siren. As I had started losing weight I wanted to find something to get me more physically active. I had been interested in roller derby and when I found a cheap pair of quads at a second hand store it inspired me to look into it. A good friend from HS knew Slayor and Phoenix and recommended I check out TCDS. As they say, the rest is history.
2) What are your derby goals for 2012? Learn more. I have most of the basics down, but now it is time to really develop my skills and become an awesome blocker.
3) You are an aspiring writer, what kind of things do you like to write? My writing is the complete opposite of my personality. I enjoy writing suspense/thrillers with dark psychological elements. Nothing is more scary than the human mind and the things people are capable of. 4) Next roller derby purchase? I am actually looking to upgrade my safety gear. Elbow pads and my mouthgaurd. On my wishlist? Possibly some 265 reidell boots later this year. (In case anybody is feeling generous :P )
5) Random Fact about DoubleTap:
When I was a baby, I went down two flights of stairs in my walker and didn’t flip over once. While my mom was screaming for my father, I was at the bottom of the stairs giggling. I feel this explains a lot about me.

1) How long have you been playing roller derby and what brought you to TCDS?
I have been playing derby since August, 2010. I wanted to do something cool that most people have never tried. I heard that Thunder City was a brand new team so I came to the very first TCDS recruit night.
2) You probably have the greatest derby name on the team, how did it come to being?
I don’t know about the GREATEST, but it’s still pretty good. I originally started as Triple Ax-Her… but that is super lame. So when T-Wrecks was thinking of what her name should be, Egg McMuff Punch was on her list. So I stole it.
3) What’s it like being one of the younger girls on TCDS?
Only D-Pain is younger than me. It has it’s ups and downs being one of the youngest. Everyone has become sort of big sisters to me. I don’t have any blood related sisters so it is nice to have people to look after me I guess. My mom appreciates it too. She especially likes Slam and “Boom Boom” as she calls Binky.
4) What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a lighting designer for either theatrical performances or for a touring band.
5) Random fact about Egg? (Besides the fact you are barefoot 98% of the time)
I am completely obsessed with The Mighty Boosh and all things Noel Fielding. It is a shame that more Americans don’t know about the world of The Mighty Boosh.
Also… When are you due? Contrary to popular belief on this team… I am not pregnant.
